Exploration day at Samran Pinnacles and Davy Jones wreck

When we do what we love. A few days ago we went out for a day of exploration, scanning, and diving around Koh Phangan and south of Koh Tao aboard the Explorer, our versatile catamaran. Now we got a new 3D map of Samran Pinnacles and for the first time of the Davy Jones Shipwreck.

Samran Pinnacles are full of life and on par with the other very popular dive sites ranging from around 15m all the way to 30m to the seafloor. The Davy Jones wreck discovered in 2006 by Tim Lawrence was probably a Thai transport ship as the hull is loaded with many crates of old Singha water bottles. It lies in 39m of water and is nowadays covered in old fishing nets but is still a very interesting sight.

It was a very nice day with the team exploring and enjoying these less known sites of the Gulf of Thailand.

We are still preparing and setting up for expeditions and exploration but the boat is already available for daily rental for private tours or private dive trips. Do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
